CharmHealth Introduces CharmBillerPro Platform for Centralized Medical Billing Management

New system adds AI automation, integrated payments, and expanded workflow tools for billing firms and medical groups

CharmHealth announced the launch of CharmBillerPro, a redesigned platform intended to simplify medical billing and revenue cycle management for billing firms and healthcare practices. The system adds AI-driven automation, integrated payment tools, and expanded workflow management capabilities.

CharmBillerPro is designed to support billing organizations that serve multiple practices using different electronic health record (EHR) systems. The platform centralizes claims management across clients and integrates with both CharmHealth’s EHR and third-party EHR systems.

According to CharmHealth CEO Pramila Srinivasan, Ph.D., the platform is built to reduce administrative work and increase accuracy for billing firms and practices that outsource revenue cycle operations. The system automatically retrieves patient demographics, insurance details, procedure codes, and diagnosis codes from clinical documentation before generating claims and routing them through clearinghouses. Payment information is returned to the platform when insurers remit payment.

AI-Enabled Billing Automation

CharmBillerPro includes several new automation features. An AI-led claim scrubbing engine evaluates claims for errors prior to submission, and automated claim generation and versioning are designed to reduce manual steps. The platform also supports electronic remittance advice (ERA) auto-posting, automated patient billing, and real-time alerts intended to shorten follow-up time and improve first-pass resolution rates.

Integrated Payment Tools

The platform incorporates built-in payment capabilities, including Bluefin integration for credit card processing and embedded patient billing options. Users can view payment status and reconciliation details within the system.

Platform Enhancements for Billing Firms

The release of CharmBillerPro includes several updates:

Centralized Billing Dashboard: A single interface to manage clients across multiple practices and EHR systems, including claims, payments, performance reports, and other activity.

Performance Analytics: Real-time dashboards, customizable revenue cycle reports, and payment tracking tools to monitor financial performance and identify trends.

Security and Access Controls: Enterprise-level security settings with role-based permissions and audit trails for tracking activity.

Chandresh Shah, president and CEO of AvetaLive, Inc., said the platform helps billing firms manage diverse client bases with consistent processes and oversight.

Positioned for Established and Scaling Billing Firms

CharmBillerPro can operate as a standalone system and integrates with existing workflows used by billing companies and medical groups. The platform is intended for organizations managing both small and large claim volumes, including practices with multiple EHR systems.

CharmHealth said the system is part of its broader effort to reduce administrative load across healthcare operations and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
