Artificial Intelligence Streamlines RCM

Experian Health provides claims management services for some of the healthcare industry’s largest providers. In a recent interview, Experian Health’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jason Considine, revealed a new solution called AI Advantage which gives providers a sort of predictive analytics within their billing processes, and helps reduce denied claims.

“When AI Advantage picks up denials from one provider, we can apply those learnings across all of the providers we support,” Considine explained. “With this system, we’re effectively giving them the ability to stop denied claims, before they’ve even been submitted.

It’s important to note that Experian has been tuning their AI model on their claims data set for the last several years.

“Our early adopters have been able to reduce their denials using AI Advantage by 5% each and every month that it is in their environment while effectively reducing labor needs in their claims denial management departments,” Considine said.
